Soooo we went out to get a tree last night...
and instead we somehow spent all of our money on gifts for the girls and our brother and sister in law haha. We didn't get a tree, but it was fun to have stuff to wrap. So I was okay with it.

Well, here it is. It's my due date. I know it's been a long time since everything happened... but 13 weeks is plenty of time to fall in love. Half a year, evidently, isn't long enough to forget that love. It's really hard to think I should have a little one in my arms this week ( Read more... )

I told Brian I wanted to get a real tree this year. It seems like it will be much harder for the cat that stole Christmas to take this one down. Unlike last yearI looked at the website of a local tree farm and then researched the types of trees they offered. I decided I wanted a Scotch Pine. They are thick/lush trees with sturdy branches. Tonight was really nice. We had my mom and brother over for dinner. I made a ham and a million side dishes. Even though I told them not to, they brought over some small gifts, a tin of pop corn, a Glade flameless candle, even a gift for eddy! We gave them our gifts and I gave them a card with the money I was giving them in it. My mom thanked me ( Read more... )
