Can anyone identify it for me? Photo taken in Mount Airy, Virginia.

I gave my mom a small Cassia Surattenis two years ago for her birthday (November) I did purchase a smaller than desired plant (5 gallon) as they were hard to find that year. Since planting it two years ago it has bloomed with its amaizing yellow flowers in fall and summer but it has not grown. It is supposed to grow to 12-15 feet and it is supposed ( Read more... )

i went to the state fair and saw this flower. i've seen it in a couple places around town, and always wondered what it is.

its a pretty flower, with HUGE leaves, nearly as tall as i am.

I have passed my local fruit stand on trash day a few times and noticed some small wooden slat crates that used to hold fruit and herbs on the pile. I stopped by last week to see if I could have them and they said it wasn't a problem. They also agreed to hold four or five more for me this week ( Read more... )
