I talked to Curmudgeon about the impending tariffs and gave him my opinion that if he wants to get a new car, we should probably do it soon. Put simplistically, tariffs raise prices on exports, but even if we got a domestic car, domestic manufacturers would see rising foreign car prices as an opportunity to raise their prices. Always a day to get things done before things get busy for work for the next few months. Sometimes Curmudgeon complains about it but not too seriously. Curmudgeon took a home COVID test we had in our medicine cabinet, and it came up negative, so that’s good. I don’t want that again, after I coughed for six weeks this fall and it tore up my vocal chords. I don’t want it, whatever it is, though.

Curmudgeon came down with a sore throat. He stayed home from the shopping today. I’m trying not to kiss him and to stay away. I sympathize, but I can’t get sick with year-end close on the horizon!
