Just finished a UFO (Un Finished Object) quilt that I've been playing with for years. It is a simple pieced, cat blocks in Halloween fabrics and the orange border with black cat paw foot steps walking around the border. Saturday I took a class from Deb Karasik, Inner Light, at the Glendale Quilt Show. I arrived harried but early for class, let's hear it for speeding and not killing anyone. I got my Bernina 1090 in 1993. I called my mother on a pay phone to get her advice over which model to pick. I have used this workhorse to death. She has given me so much enjoyment. Yesterday was full of win and life cycle. Kira and I had reconnected last Wednesday at "The Sexy Ladies" event at Liz's. The event was a life drawing and wine evening with a nude male model. We landed in Louisville on Wednesday afternoon. It is a green, a color that is soft and kind to the eye. We had a fun time before even leaving the airport. Seriously great shops inside there. Been very well taken care of this week! Got some walking in, lots of girlfriend time with polysylabic conversations. Agility has been the tops. Bru has been gaining weight though, she has been culling the local lizard population by several pounds and who knew geckos packed calories as well as insurance rates.
