So it's been a while.

Recent news, I've just gotten back from a holiday to Scotland. Trying not to be too down in the dumps about having to go to back to work tomorrow.

But Edinburgh was awesome, as usual. Got to watch a lot of fun shows. One in particular which I fell in love with was about 200 years of history as told by a group of clowns. Yeah, ( Read more... )

Okay, so on the Empire movie website they do this thing called poster mash up where they mix up things with movie posters for amusing results. And their latest one was Doctor Who. Most were so-so, but a few gave me a giggle. One, entitled "Cyberman on Wire" amused me far more than it should have, but the best (to me) was this:

Okay, as warned/promised/told I am going to do a track by track review of the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack.

Why you may ask? Well because it's my blog so there, and also it was a case of write about this or my continued failure in finding a job. That was a no-brainer.

Well I do.

Doesn't help mind you that I have no idea what I want to do. But I'm just going around to all possible shop based options and am getting nowhere. It sucks.

Anyways, got a couple of things to cheer myself up in relation to the job hunting woes.

So yeah I've recently found these guys, The Baseballs.

What they do is they do 50's Rock n Roll covers of pop songs. I'd seen the advert on tv for their album but the other day was the first time I'd actually listened to them.
