I hate job hunting

Well I do.

Doesn't help mind you that I have no idea what I want to do. But I'm just going around to all possible shop based options and am getting nowhere. It sucks.

Anyways, got a couple of things to cheer myself up in relation to the job hunting woes.

First, Azumanga Daioh omnibus:

Now I've seen most of the anime and read some of the first volume of manga. It's just a good funny manga. At first I was a bit unsure about certain elements (like the pervy teacher) but I just like the characters so much and I know it's all meant to be taken an unseriously as possible.
Fav characters have to be Sakaki, because I like kitties, Yukari and Nyamo, because they're just awesome, and Osaka, because it's Osaka. I do like the other characters too of course, but those ones in particular I just lke that little bit extra. And I just LOVE LOVE the bits with Maya the Pika Meow Meow, I think I watched that episode of the anime waaay too many times.

Also helping my mood has been listening to Sam Hart and I Fight Dragons.

Sam Hart is most well known on the internet as the guy who sang the Mario Kart Love Song, available on itunes.

I just love this song. Cheesey? oh beyond belief, but it's just so laughable sweet.

He also likes cats, and even sang an ode to his cat (as he had his girlfriend pile things on top of said cat.)

AWWWWW KITTY!

This one of my favourite of his original songs, about a long distance relationship:

But this is only a handful of his great songs, including some nice covers of various songs, so I seriously say to you check out his youtube account: http://www.youtube.com/user/blinktwice4y

Now IFightDragons is a group I was introduced to via another fan of The Megas. Basically these guys use old style Nintendo sounds in their music. It's more obvious in some songs than others. But I downloaded their EP for free (from signing up for their newsletter) and listen it a lot.

This was the first of their songs I heard. Now I don't just like them for the whole geek factor, I genuinely like their music. Although not all their songs, there's this one called Money which I'm not too fond of and I pretty much always skip it on their EP.

I love rocking out to this song in my current job hunting woes mood.

This is a cover of a Jonathan Coulton song and they do it so well and it's so funny.

Don't let the Rick Astley factor put you off, this is a really good cover. And it has added Super Marioness.

So that's the music I've been listening to in order to perk my mood up in this jobless time. Hope it helps you too if anyone is feeling down.

Peace out.
