its been a strange weekend here ... which  come to think of it almost makes it a "normal" weekend here...

we are expecting high winds and lots of rain,  (got it , too) so i pulled in most of my orchids from the back yard (anyone want a convalescing orchid? free? assuming you are nearby) and BOY even after donating several to fundraisers those divisions have multiplied. they still look a bit odd, all leggy and sparse, but the roots are developing, ( Read more... )

well i am having the usual symptoms. a deep desire to plant things, and a tendency to do indoor gardening until it actually warms up out there.... might explain the sudden influx of orchids in the house.....
