It's NICE to have the car to myself to be able to get out of the house! Went to see "Baby Mama" this afternoon before my prenatal exam. Very funny! I love both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. This AM I went for my 38-week prenatal checkup. All is normal in terms of measurements, fetal heartrate. Fry's head is still down, so that's good - he's all set to be birthed. Yay!

Immediately after the checkup the husband and I hit the road ... to Santa Cruz! ( awesome time )

This has to be a record for me - I got to work after lunch (worked from home in the AM) and, less than 2 hours later, had to bail because I was so exhausted. Fry is putting so much pressure on me that it's difficult to just breathe normally. And just yesterday I was musing about how nonsucky my pregnancy was. Ha ha ( Read more... )

I was supposed to have the exam this AM but the Dr had an emergency she had to attend so it got rescheduled to the afternoon. And the *ssholes tried to push it back to tomorrow but fortunately I was already at the clinic so they did not dare (I would have been pissed off to an incendiary degree).

Worked at home today. No special reason - it wasn't like I felt wrecked or anything (at least not more than normal - whine, whine). But there was nothing that I needed to go in for. And I would have had to take the bus to work, which is never fun ( Read more... )
