Worked at home today. No special reason - it wasn't like I felt wrecked or anything (at least not more than normal - whine, whine). But there was nothing that I needed to go in for. And I would have had to take the bus to work, which is never fun.
My lone meeting I handled by phone ... or at least I tried to (gave him my husband's cel phone # by mistake because we're one digit off). OOPS. Fortunately my husband was able to give the guy my #.
Of course, it was pretty hot today and I didn't run the A/C (and there is no A/C upstairs yet) so I'm a bit wilted now, despite keeping good hydration. That's the good thing about work - climate control.
On the bright side, I managed to knock out some tedious "back burner" projects that have been on my endless to-do list for quite some time. And watched some TV while I was at it. Go me!
As of Monday night, the childbirth prep classes are _over_. Woo hoo! I'm totally ready to birth this kid. Not so ready to be a mom, but what can you do? It'll be nice not having to get up and go pee every 2 hours. Instead I'll be getting up to feed the kid (at least until he starts sleeping longer) ... at least I hear they're supposed to get a good 4-5 hour block of sleep going. Mmm, 4-5 hours of sleep in a row ... :P~~
In other happy news, I found a switch on the bedroom fan that causes it to switch direction. Now, all of a sudden, I can feel it actually moving the air.
Now I'm hungry and I hope the husband will come back home soon with food.
