- Office cookie "potluck". A few weeks back, I suggested to the office admin that we replicate My Former Company's tradition of the cookie potluck. More happy stuff:
Tuesday - An email from the husband announcing that our son had soiled his diaper. Honest, it made me laugh and I needed it then.
Wednesday - Amidst a crazy-busy day, a perfect session of teamwork with my technician. We were POWERING through the work at hand all while firing off sarcastic emails bitching about the tasks.

I stayed home from work again today. I'm feeling a little bit better (certainly not as awful as I felt last night) so maybe I'll be able to go in tomorrow morning. And I got an email of praise from my boss for yesterday's work efforts (cc'ed to his boss). This is the 2nd such praise email in as many weeks. I'm of course thankful though it also ( Read more... )
