Well, I had my weekly weigh in yesterday...I'm down 1.4 pounds!! Yay! I was pretty proud of me. That leaves me with about 9.4 to go. I'm right on track; I figured out that I needed to lose 1.25 lbs/week to get to my goal by mid-August. It seems very, very do-able ( Read more... )

I'm just kind of...here today. I'm feeling pretty much exhausted--5.5 hours of sleep a night just isn't cutting it. I haven't gotten into a good routine yet with this project thing. So, I ran while at the gym last night for the first time in forever. I had kind of quit running for a while, partially due to laziness and partially because I'd discovered a new love for the stair master. Have I ever mentioned how much I love weekends? I only worked 8 hours on Saturday and then took Sunday off and it was FANTASTIC. The weather stayed beautiful all weekend and I got to spend some q/t with the boy, which is always appreciated.

Saturday after I got home from work I took advantage of the nice weather and went for a run outside.

I had a fantastic workout at the gym last night. All I did was run--I didn't have the time to do any strength training--but it was a great run. I did some interval training to break up the boredom a bit. I set the incline at 1.5 then walked at 4 mph for 3 minutes...ran at 5.5 mph for 3 minutes..then at 6.0 for 2 minutes...then 6.5 for 2 minutes ( Read more... )
