...food/workout/work related.
As of this Sunday, I'll officially be a full time control room operator. My biggest fear about taking this job is getting fat...it involves sitting for 12 hours in front of 12 computer screens.
So, I've decided to be proactive.
I will start watching my food intake very closely, and cutting down on the amount of food I bring to work. If I don't bring it--I can't eat it.
I will make an effort to get some sort of workout in daily. Whether its an actual trip to the gym, a walk or jog at home, a workout DVD, etc.
I will also try to get off my butt at work as much as possible. Being that I'm in a more remote location, I can get away with more...tonight I did:
*Several sets of jumping jacks
*Several sets of jump squats (OMGAMAZING for the quads)
*Several sets of chair squats (works the arms)
*Various standing leg lift type things
It is possible to move around and do these things at work. I just need to keep doing them. And I'll be fine.
PS--I'm absolutely in love the Click mocha protein shakes. They're only 120 calories and 3.5 grams of fat (3 Weight Watchers points), they have 15 grams of protein...AND two shots of espresso. Umm..yum! They're pretty much like liquid crack. Check 'em out...
http://www.amazon.com/CLICK-Espresso-14-Servings-16-Ounce-Canister/dp/B00305L330 I did some poking around online and have found them for $17 a canister--a bit hard to swallow--but, I also bought a crap ton of them at a local discount grocery store for $5 a canister. Makes me a happy girl!
Okay its about time for this tired little girl to get out of here. Happy Friday to those that have weekends off! :-p
