Well, I had my weekly weigh in yesterday...I'm down 1.4 pounds!! Yay! I was pretty proud of me. That leaves me with about 9.4 to go. I'm right on track; I figured out that I needed to lose 1.25 lbs/week to get to my goal by mid-August. It seems very, very do-able.
I've had some really great workouts this week. I've done a good bit of medium-high instensity cardio, some weight training, and some good ab work. I'm starting to feel better, which is the important thing. I have so much more energy when I'm exercising regularly!
I'm also noticing that its taking less for to fill me up, and that I'm staying full longer. It seems I'm starting to re-train my stomach/appetite, which is a good thing.
Most of this really is in your head, ya know?
