So. A year ago today we carted everything we own up three flights of stairs and moved into our very cozy one-bedroom apartment here in metro Denver. Life at 5,280 feet has been good to us so far. Christmas morning started at 4:30AM for me, with one of the most wretched sore throats I'd woken to in ages. I felt like some animal had clawed at my neck in my sleep. I have been sick, but not sick enough to take off work. This has resulted in a pretty miserable week. However, I've made it to FRIDAY intact, so all is well. I now have a whole weekend to laze around and recover! At least, this is the plan.
