The reason why Treptower park (well, any park in general) could be interesting in the freezing cold might be only something unnatural. In this case it was Russian war memorial complex. Interesting fact about the complex is that behind the soldier's statue there's a real man - WWII Russian soldier Nikolay Masalov, who saved a girl. So the girl is ( Read more... )

Today, on the 3rd of February, is the Chinese New Year. To mark this date I decided to change order of my posts and though promised to be the last the post about New year celebration will be today:) And besides having a little rest between visiting museums is also good ( Read more... )

This bridge that I also posted in the previous post marks the end of the railway exposition and the beginning of seafaring and after that aviation expositions. These expositions are placed in that part of the building which has the plane on it's roof. That very plane I showed also in the previous post.

In the second part of museums tour there will be the first part of Technical Museum exposition. I will divide it in two parts because there's a lot of photos from there:) The museum is really huge, we spent 5 hours there and still have to skip some expositions. In this part I want to start telling a little about Berlin museums. Overall we visited Old National Gallery, New Museum, Technical Museum and Natural Science Museum.
