Can anyone tell me just what is going on with the current (and seemingly ongoing) "fashion statement" of wearing jeans with huge rips in them? Anyone? A friend was describing how one of her co-workers insists on wearing torn garments in defiance of their office dress code (which is stupid in its own right). I just don't get it ( Read more... )

...well, rather dull, actually. I've done a number of small household chores, puttered on Facebook and even taken a short nap. Nothing exciting or earthshaking, though. Today, we drove up to Plummer to visit a smoke shop on the Coeur d'Alene reservation. We packed a picnic lunch: chicken sandwiches, carrot spears and cherry tomatoes that I had picked just before we left.
