Crying Tiger is a Thai dish consisting of sliced beef, onions, Thai basil, cucumber, cabbage, tomato and rice powder in spicy dressing/sauce. We just got to try it for the first time, and it's marvelous! The tiger was crying tears of joy ( Read more... )

A pork shoulder roast, purchased at a very good price from Bel Air Market. I've inserted several cloves of garlic into the meat and seasoned the outside with salt and pepper. It will make several meals ( Read more... )

It rained in the early afternoon, but it cleared by the time Neil came home. No errands today (tomorrow, lots). Tonight's supper was pork stir-fried with ginger, alongside coconut rice. I haven't made Thai in a while, so it was a nice change. Tomorrow will be something quick and easy.
