Seems I'm so BUSY lately. Busy being outside or something... Sunday we had Sunday dinner here so there was that to take up a lot of the day. Monday I hiked with Candy to see the Miller Farm waterfalls at Oil Creek. Not that much of a falls really, don't know why they call it that, but it is still a pretty spot. I've been busy with getting the house ready to have our usual combo Father's Day, Anniversary, my birthday and Rossy's birthday party. I drove down to Pittsburgh to get Hazel on Sunday morning and then take her back home this morning. Pittsburgh/interstate - blaa. The weed whacker arrived yesterday and it took about 8 hours to charge the 2 batteries. The plan for today is to get out there first thing with my big loppers and cut back the jaggerbushes along where Dave will mow some of the pathways (the flatter ones) so he doesn't get scratched, and then later when the dew dries I'll whack the narrow bumpy ( Read more... )

I was up late last night and slept in this morning. A lovely lazy-day kind of high summer thing to do. I have the BEST dreams when I sleep in. The only problem is I do need to get up around 6 and stumble out to the chicken coop and open their door so I don't have to listen to their complaining on the baby monitor.
