Rainy and I took a hike at Two Mile on Black Gum Hill last night just before sunset. Came across many, many deer. Now is the perfect season (late August) to hike on every trail there. The mud holes are all dried up. There is one path in particular (the deer meadow trail) that can't be hiked most of the year because of the mud pits so I took advantage and went on it last evening.
Last night I had replaying dreams about going to a party or music concert on the upper floor of a building. Lots of narrow stairs to climb to get up there. Many closed doors so I didn't know which door was a door to more stairs or a door to someone's apartment. Had to meet other people on the stairs and ask them the way. I had children with me and had to keep gathering them so I didn't lose them.
Also woke up in the night with a bad charley horse. I'm reading now that they can be caused by excessive exercise in the heat and dehydration. I guess that explains it. I'm not much of a drinker of water and I did feel tired out by my hike last night.

Candy and I are biking today. I'm hoping to go on the Belmar Bridge to Fisherman's Cove trail. I haven't been there yet this summer. Another super beautiful summer day today to enjoy.
