The weed whacker arrived yesterday and it took about 8 hours to charge the 2 batteries. The plan for today is to get out there first thing with my big loppers and cut back the jaggerbushes along where Dave will mow some of the pathways (the flatter ones) so he doesn't get scratched, and then later when the dew dries I'll whack the narrow bumpy paths that he can't reach with the mower. I'm excited to do yardwork! Not a normal thing for me. But I like having those trails in the woods and I'm excited about creating some new ones.

Summer Love

Candy and I hiked at Two Mile in the golden hour last night and plan to do the same thing tonight at the Erie Wildlife Refuge. Going hiking in those evening hours after supper time is something I love about summer. Evening bike rides along the river are nice too. I need to get my bike road-ready and put the bike rack on my car again.
