Things I can do tonight to ensure that I'll feel well enough to perform on Saturday:

1. Ginger.
   
2. Tea.
   
3. Soup.
   
4. Steam.
   
5. Go to bed early.
   
6. Melatonin, to facilitate the above.
   
7. Don't do anything that will keep me up, like games, reading, or Netflix.
   
8. Norco (the drug, not the cow-town in Riverside County) if the pain gets bad.

A guitar player almost never has only one guitar. I actually have five. Two are full-size steel-string acoustics, one is a 3/4-size steel-string acoustic, one is a Martin Backpacker . . .

. . . and, as of Tuesday, I am the proud owner of a cherry red Epiphone hollow-body electric!

I can't believe how stupid I was last night.

On account of my insomnia of Tuesday evening, I've been trying to decrease my caffeine intake by reducing both the amount (e.g., switching to tea or decaf) and the frequency (two cups a day instead of four or five) of my caffeinated beverages.
