Yesterday, both my brother and I got up early to make the trip up to L.A. to see our dad for both Thanksgiving and his 80th birthday. I was staggering out of my room just as he was pouring a cup of coffee for himself.

ME: Urgghhh...
HIM: Zombie?!?
ME: (thinking fast) GRROOUUUUUNNDDDSS!

Some days, there's just too much morning at the end of the coffee.

I don't personally know ANYONE who actually likes Daylight Saving Time. So here's a petition to the White House to have it abolished. If it makes its signature goal, the White House must respond. There's no guarantee that they'll do anything, but at least we'll have their attention for 30 seconds or so.

The other day, using my Netflix streaming account, I watched two movies. One was a soft-core, European art-house film from the early '70's called Maid In Sweden. The other was the fairly recent, low-budget, straight-to-DVD B-movie Zombie Strippers. I expected to like Maid In Sweden, as I am a fan of art-house films, especially European ones.
