last night i had a dream that i found loki. even in the dream i knew that he'd passed away almost a decade ago.. he jumped up onto my bed and i curled up around him - he pushed himself up under my chin (like he used to) and i told him how much i missed him and cried into his fur until i woke up.

an interesting anchor point has been showing up in my dreams lately: a bodega. most often the entrance is 2 or 3 steps down from a city sidewalk, and the left-most of 3 doors.*
