Friday night I left for a too-short visit with my Mom before the holidays. We arrived late Friday evening, stayed through Saturday, and came home last night. And I willingly stayed off the internet the entire time! I didn’t even miss it.

It’s a short shift and all, but I have a feeling we ALL got off to an awkward start today. Both kids left their cell phones at home, and I forgot to remind Joe that I will be a bit behind picking him up, as I don’t get off work till 3 today.
