My kids rock!
Last night Danny called from Mississippi to let me know the space station just flew over their Dad’s house, just because they knew I’d want to see it, too
Unfortunately, I stood out for a short while, and didn’t see anything except a bunch of planes. According to Nasa’s Human Space Flight page, that’s because it was visible in both places at the same time. But, also according to that page, I can see it again tonight. So all is not lost. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it, so I am definitely making a point to try to watch if I can. And, if you’re an astronomy geek like me, be sure to check that page for the next time you can spot either the ISS or Shuttle over your home!
Yep. My kids rock! And their mom misses them terribly already.
