I safely returned from Austria late on Monday night, but on Tuesday morning I was already out volunteering again, and since then the days have generally felt busy despite of both Graham and me having another week off. I had a strange dream before waking up this morning. Graham and I were with the guys and playing a bizarre card game called "[Something something] reverse [something something]". I only sort of watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics yesterday. Seeing my Mum again was sweet. I believe that we both got a lot of good out of this visit. I got to go on a bit of a holiday and was fed lots of home-made cooking (and schnitzel), while she had someone to talk to and to help her out with the everyday worries of life for a few days, from typing out complaint letters over hanging pictures to raking ( Read more... )

Time for a dream post. Last night's dream certainly wasn't the most bizarre one I've ever had, but there were a lot of little tidbits that I found quite weird when I remembered them after waking up.

( School trips, sexual harassment, funny bandits? )

... especially after drinking Sprite or eating bread or potatoes, but that's a new one:

I was asleep and dreaming. In the dream I took a couple of large bites out of a slice of bread before going off to do something else. Shortly afterwards I woke - because I had got hiccups from dreaming about eating bread.
