I did my usual thing of typing up some notes about each day on my old computer and saving them in a .txt document on my USB stick, so I could more or less just transfer them over to Livejournal now. The TL;DR version is that things went well.

Christmas felt kind of long this year, possibly because the family celebrations had to be extended to include the 27th due to scheduling issues. I safely returned from Austria late on Monday night, but on Tuesday morning I was already out volunteering again, and since then the days have generally felt busy despite of both Graham and me having another week off. Yesterday the charity that I volunteer at organised a nice lunch for its volunteers. Apparently there are currently 27 of us, though only about two thirds of them were able to make it. Today was actually a pretty damn good Christmas Day; spending time with Graham's family was fun. It just left me feeling very knackered, as I was still kind of tired from the stress yesterday as well as sleep-deprived.
