How can it be 4 years ago that little Jiffy crossed Rainbow Bridge ... where do the days go? Some days I still expect to see him in the house. he may have been a little person, but he filled a big place in the hearts of those who knew him.

Yes, 45 years ago I was baprised by my Dad at the Old Chapel in Upminster.  I do remember a lot about the day, a special time of confirming my faith.  As Dad was taking the service I was able to chose 3 of the 4 hymns (Dad chose the first), and they were -

I am a Royalist, and am happy that anyone knows that.  However even for those who aren't, it is marvellous to celebrate a Platinum Wedding Anniversay.  I do hope that they are able to enjoy wonderful memories .... and plan for the daays ahead!

Yes, it was a good time.  Brenda and I managed not to poison anyone.  It was just a relaxing family day ... although there were a few tears choked while we listened to a recording of them taking their vows, especially as Dad was the person who married them.
