I Have Been A Good Girl, So Far Today ...
Wow, that is a shock!!
I didn't have a shift this morning, so spent much of it doing my garden. I don't have much, and it is all set to patio, but I do have an assortment of tubs. I promised myself a couple of yeas ago that I would do them thoroughly, but then last Spring with being ill and then lockdown I just did "at" them. So today I have thrown out some plants and sorted, cleaned etc ... wow there wasn't much on a major league of gardening but I am certainly tired. But, good tired, so that is nice.
After lunch I am going to walk out to the cemetery to put some flowers between Mum & Dad's graves (pointing to icon) .... it would have been there 69th Wedding Anniversary today. We had a great celebration for their 60th so am glad they were both alive & well for that.
On the way home I am going via Tim & Claire's (it is actually on the way depending which route I take. It will be there 31st Wedding Anniversay on Wednesday. So want to drop off a card, and I also had a couple of spare bulbs that I didn't have space to plant in the tubs .... so they get a "pressie".
So all in all a good day.
Yesterday we had a good service "at" Church. Over the last year we have been studying the book of Acts, and yesterday was the last study. The next 2 weeks will be Palm Sunday/Easter Day. So don't know what we will be studying next. It is good to be systematic, although not all Church pastors do that. I also had a 2+ mile walk ... so a good Sunday.
So a lovely 2 days, although I think in a couple of days the rain is returning so it was nice to be out and about in the dry, and sunny patches.
Well that's me up to date again - I do hope you all had a good weekend. I will try to catch up with you all later, but before then I will do today's question -
22. Do you have a preference on name brand vs store brand?
Some things are do eat brand names ... especially breakfast cereals (No one makes cornflakes like Kellogs) ... but for many things the own brand is fine. In fact, when I buy my blackcurrant squash which I drink a lot of, then my absolute favourite is the cheepo (white label) own brand!
