We finally fixed the rest of the fence (well except for one side, which will undoubtedly fail eventually) 30 years old it is, and was completely falling apart. We took my laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy. Turns out they couldn't fix it in the store, they had to send it away elsewhere. The guy said the hard drive or ram might be bad. I finished The Crown Conspiracy by Michael J. Sullivan the other day. It was a pretty good read. I wasn't hooked at first, but it got better as it went along. There were moments I could tell that this was a first novel, and of course I couldn't help myself from comparing it to other mainstream fantasy books.
