We finally fixed the rest of the fence (well except for one side, which will undoubtedly fail eventually) 30 years old it is, and was completely falling apart. Dogs kept escaping through holes and by nudging the planks aside. They even almost got hit by a car once. :( So, the fence really badly needed repairing. About a couple of years ago my family, along with a lot of neighbors' help fixed up the left side, but the back and part of the right side was still neglected. So, it was just now we finally got it fixed. We hired a guy to do it. He worked on it with two other guys. They said it would take 4 days, but ended up only taking 2. His asking price also turned out lower that he first offered, plus he swept up our patio and got rid of stuff for us that we didn't want anymore. So now our backyard looks really neat and cleaned up. It was nice of him to do that. Grass is still mostly dead though, so I guess that's the next thing. No more escaping dogs. Though they still try. Luke has been trying to dig holes under the fence. >:(
I've been really bored lately not having my music or games. There are alternatives of course. I don't want to start a new iTunes playlist on this computer because I don't use this computer (only use it now because I don't have my laptop), so it would be a waste of time. Besides I want my songs, not some new ones. So, in that case I'm kind of limited to internet radio. So, I've been using LastFm again.
As for the games, I can always start a new game. Can't really do that on this computer though because it's old, and thus most of the games I'd like to play are just not going to work on here. Also I don't like starting a new game when I know I'm still working on finishing one. Another thing is I want to record videos of any new games I do. I can't do that on this computer because like I said most new games don't work on this computer. So, I'm mostly out of luck. I've been playing a game on the internet to fill the void. This game can be addicting, but only for a short period of time. Eventually I get tired of it. My last thing I could do is return to freeware. That may be the best option right now because one, they are short, and two I usually just delete them after I've played them. It's what I usually do when I've run out of things to play, or I'm in a situation like this, where I'm unable to play regular games. Plus the good thing is that they will work on this computer.
So, it's tough and I've been really bored, but I'm surviving I guess.
