As far as I am aware, we are the only country where to watch any live TV you need a TV licence from the BBC - more specifically TV Licensing - and here is the kicker - you could be fined heavily and have a criminal conviction for non payment ( Read more... )

Cold and overcast again. Dipping in not minus figure overnight.Feels very wintry, so I'm hoping it will be warmer next week.

For dinner,we had fish and chips.
We watched Shetland afterwards on BBC 1.

A day of relaxing and listeing to the radio and playing music. I deferred any jobs to Monday onwards.

Having wathced the original Orphan Black series I decided to binge watch the recently added Orphan Black: Echoes as it was only ten episodes long. I did this over three evenings. I then realised by checking media sites that the new series was cancelled after the one season and that it ended on a cliffhanger - now to be unresolved ( Read more... )
