As far as I am aware, we are the only country where to watch any live TV you need a TV licence from the BBC - more specifically TV Licensing - and here is the kicker - you could be fined heavily and have a criminal conviction for non payment.
Isn't it about time we scrapped the licence altogether?
Even if you watch Sky, or Apple TV or Prime , etc, you still need that damn license for watching live or downloaded content, be it from the BBC or elsewhere.
Luckily, here in our Riverside housing association flats we are covered as there is a community TV in the common room. Not everyone has that. So , come on BBC, I love some of your programmes but maybe it's time to offer similar packages to those who have Prime, Netflix and so on
