Today in a nutshell. Windy, well, very windy, an hour of torrent rain and sunshine. Muggy and warm but too windy for a good sunbathing session.

I deferred all visits to Monday now. I did not feel like traveling today.

Listened to music. Read some chapters of a book.

Had pizza and Italian beer.

Unfortunately due to a traffic accident on a major road and other delays, I did not arrive at Catnip Cottage until after three.

For dinner we had pizza from Dominoes.

From my long journey and the amount of wine I had,I went to bed early.

Another dull and murky day.

This morning I wrapped up some presents, specifically for my brother, as well as my friend Phil. One of these pressies is a rude pen!

For lunch, I had a chicken with herb dressing pizza. It was very filling. Washed down with wine and then I had some tiramisu.

I had a good journey yesterday. When the last bus approached Falmer station a whole load of customers alighted onboard filling both the upper and lower deck of the bus. I was at the lower back end of the bus wondering how I would get past the thronged masses with my case. Most were students from Sussex University going into the city or their digs ( Read more... )

Not the fourth album by Abba but the fact that I have arrived in Brighton. I walked into my brother's abode at around five fifteen in the afternoon.

We had pizza for dinner and washed down with a red wine I bought in Faversham.

At the moment I am drinking a Spitfire ale.

Well folks I have arrived safely in Brighton. I arrived slightly after five and kept free of most of the intermittent rain.
We are about to have pizza tonight. That will be the third night I would have had pizza. Had one last night at my journey toTenterden yesterday.

Some good news. We do have a bus service again that will take us to town but it's only available in the morning. Still. It is better than nothing. I used the service today as I had some books for Kate and I had my luggage for the Brighton visit. There was eight people waiting for that service. Vindication that we need a bus service in Lover Road.
