Another wet cool morning. Once agin, though, the afternoon was quite mild and it turned sunny . I I popped into town to check if the new Wire magazine had arrived. It is already available online. The physical copy comes with an attached CD.

This morning I saw the burse at the surgery to redo my leg dressing. This should have been done last week but again it was cancelled. Anyway, she also decides to check my blood pressure in both my arms and the bottom of my legs. Well, it rained most of the day but I did have my lunch at Spoons. I had the large mixed grill washed down with some Adnams Broadside ale. Sold a few books at the Past Sentence bookstore and then got the bus back home.

Before I started reading the Wire magazine in the early nineties my relationship with such printed output was haphazardly irregular. In the seventies, it would have been Blues & Soul mainly, then later on in the eighties NME or Sounds, or Q or sometimes BBC Music magazine. I got back from London yesterday at around six and thus decided to pop off to the local cinema to see the latest DC Comics movie "Justice League". With the hand of Joss Whedon in the film i was hoping it to be a good movie, and in fact it was a great movie. After the glorious Sunday it is back to cooler and overcast weather. Most of the day i have been reading magazines,New Scientist, History Today and Philosophy Now.
