Have been thinking through what a friend said to me just a week ago about how lying actually keeps relationships, in her opinion.

2 days ago, I remember telling Anne this. The closer you are to someone, the more awkward it is for you to start talking again if you haven't been making any efforts to keep in touch. On the other hand, it is easier for you to start talking to someone, whom you are not very close to begin with, again even after not having talked for a year.
