I found out over the weekend that my cousin and his wife lost their baby at 23 weeks.  I guess from what I have found out she was retaining fluid at her 18-20 week ultrasound.  She went back in last Thursday for another appointment and at that point they couldn't find a heartbeat.  My aunt said this is actually more common than you think, but that ( Read more... )

Well it is pretty much official -> We are going to be welcoming a new addition to our family in April of 2009.

You all know that we started trying this month and a gut reaction made me test at home on Friday.  Of course I used both of the tests that I had on hand and they were both positive.  I was excited and nervous all in the same hand ( Read more... )

This weekend was a nice and enjoyable family oriented couple of days that came with a few first timers!!

1.) Mackenzie got bit on the upper arm by my coworkers son.  They were playing inside a Little Likes house and Brendan wanted to sit in the chair that Mackenzie had been hogging all morning.  He bit her pretty hard as it was deep and even turned ( Read more... )

I haven't posted much about myself lately, but I had a cyst removed off my back on Monday and it wasn't fun.  I ended up staying home from work as I was all light headed and sick to my stomach.  I ended up getting a total of 6 stitches and I am not at the point that they are itching!!  This really sucks, but it is better to get it off and taken ( Read more... )

We are just getting ready to leave here shortly for our family PA holiday vacation!!  We are going to give the night time drive a chance again and hope for the best with Mackenzie.  I just wanted to drop off a cute picture and wish everyone a happy and safe 4th!!

Well the "DAD" photos were a huge hit and I really couldn't be more happy with the results!!

Saturday - We ended up running out in the morning as a family to the outlet mall and we all got a few things.  I can't believe it but DD measured a 5-1/2 wide at the Stride Rite store as less than 2 months ago she was a 4-1/2 wide.  I ended up getting a pair ( Read more... )
