Fathers Day Weekend

Well the "DAD" photos were a huge hit and I really couldn't be more happy with the results!!

Saturday - We ended up running out in the morning as a family to the outlet mall and we all got a few things.  I can't believe it but DD measured a 5-1/2 wide at the Stride Rite store as less than 2 months ago she was a 4-1/2 wide.  I ended up getting a pair of summer shoes for $20 which works well as they are still Stride Rites and I am sure they will be too small once fall rolls around.  We also got some more summer pj's for the little girl as the fleece ones are just too warm for the summer months!!  I scored a nice pair of Eddie Bauer capris and DD got another duffel bag!!  The rest of the day we just hung out at home and let DD take a good afternoon nap as we kept her up all morning long.

I promised you gals pictures of DD in her new Little Tikes car -

I also had to share a few pictures of DD with her newest favorite food - Corn on the Cob

Sunday - I made DH a Blueberry Pancake breakfast which is very interesting when I have to cook and watch DD.  I do love my husband, but he seems to forget about the fact that DD craves attention and when his laptop is up and running - no one else is around!!  After breakfast we decided to go out and look for a bike trailer.  When DD gets a bug up his butt it is their until he is able to resolve it!!  We ended up getting two different options and then once we upacked them we decided on the more expensive option as the cheaper one was just that cheap and not worth the price.  In the end we got a Kidarooz  trailer/jooger from Costco -

DD spent the rest of the afternoon getting the trailer together and then we took DD for a walker in the new trailer to get her use to the way it sat.  I made DH a nice dinner with Pepper Crusted Ahi Tuna and veggies.  Once we were done we decided to hook the trailer up to the bike and give it a try.  I think it will be a nice change of pace for us as it will give us a bigger distance range, exercise and a way to get to the ice cream shop!!
