Sorry it has been so long since I have really posted, but things have been crazy here at work!!

Work: We had a major deadline crunch and all things considered it turned out really well.  The project is a new construction Four Seasons Hotel outside of Cario, Egypt in a city called Madinaty.  Basically the translation of Madinaty is "New City" as it is basically going to be created in the middle of the desert.  My part of the project has been the graphic presentation end and it is really exciting and fun, but stressful at the same time as I can't finish my stuff until the designers give me all the missing pieces.  To make matters worse I am not working on a machine that was built to handle Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop so that can create problems at times.  Either way the project has been printed and is just waiting to be loaded into the car and taken to the presenation in Toronto.

Halloween: The weather here has been really bizarre lately and they are calling it an "Indian Summer" as it was the high 60's for tricker treating!!  Mackenzie wasn't too excited about getting her costume on, but once we got it over her head she was fine.  My little girl was a -

The whole event was interesting as she really didn't know what to make of the whole thing.  She really wasn't into going up to stranges which isn't a bad thing, but once she realized the whole candy part she was fine!!  I will say she is really funny with the candy and we limit her to a half of the little bars at a time as I really don't want her bouncing off the walls.  I still can't believe that my little girl is growing up as fast as she is as this time last year she had just started to crawl and this year she is running all over the place.

Weekend: Overall it was a pretty low-key weekend as we had to do the usual grocery shopping and we have also been trying to organize the basement.  We need to create a play area for Mackenzie in the basement for the upcoming winter months and I am amazed by the amount of crap we have in the basement.  Slowly but surly we are making progress and before too long it will be a nice play area for her when it is just too cold to go outside!!

Voting: This whole election has been pretty crazy and I just hope that as a country we are able to elect someone that has the best interest of the middle class at hand.  The state of our local economy is really touchy right now with being "The MotorCity" and right now we need so kind of changes as the policies of the past 8 years haven't helped the situation.  I hope everyone gets the chance to get out and vote and by hopefully by tonight we will know our new president.
