So I haven't yet transcribed all my notes from the various workshops at RWA 2010 but I did write up my Disney World visit for Geek Dad.

So...Top 10 Things to do at Disney Without Kids!

And there's a comics spotlight on Wendell Vaughn, Quasar, up as well today.

I had to swing by the local library this week on an errand for the kids and found Lady in the Tower by Alison Weir on the shelves and picked it up because, hey, Anne Boleyn.

From what I've read so far, the book appears to focus on the days spent by Anne in the tower during her trial and then awaiting execution by her ex-husband, Henry VIII.

Today is a good, good day to be completely lazy, with the temperature outside hitting triple digits.

However, yesterday, I ventured out on a drive all by myself (I know!) to meet a fellow member of the Geek Dad crew, Kathy Ceceri. We met about halfway between our houses, which turned out to be a small town where I lived until I was five years old.

It was excellent news to start the week. :)

My editor says we're averaging a million page views per month. I think that's also very, very cool. 

The kids are home for their spring break this week and I have (of course!) gotten sick.

This time it's an inner ear infection. I'm not in pain but I'm very tired and I have vertigo, as if I'm constantly just getting off a roller coaster.

It makes leaning over fun....

I'm not that fond of Almost Famous but for some reason, I love that scene. As twisted as it is, the lead singer of the band is reveling in the fact that he's accomplished something.

Well, he thinks he has. He's certainly created some fans. :)
