Freya's Gift is Available!

Sorta.

:)

It's up at Amazon: Freya's Gift.

Of course, you need a Kindle or Kindle app to get it there.

It's also available at Mobipocket.

(Yes, I signed up for Google Alerts, why do you ask? Though I suspect I may come to regret it...)

However, it's not yet released on the official Samhain Publishing website until next week, as they're updating their store's servers. I'll make more money if you buy it there but, hey, if any of you want to buy it, I am NOT complaining about where you buy it. :)

I'm trying to damp down my excitement about this because it's interfering with all the other stuff I have to do, one of which is finish another book.

But I can't help getting stoked, especially when I look at the postcards I ordered. The front has Freya's Gift, the back has Dinah of Seneca, both in color. I'm going to bring them to the New England Romance Writers conference next weekend. I'll also be doing a workshop, "Internet Communities," at NEC. I'm a bit nervous about that as it's my first workshop. But I'm going to put notes on index cards. That should work.

Not much else going on except a lot of writing. I'm thisclose to the end of Sky of Seneca and the revisions on the front end are coming along nicely too. It'll feel so good to finish another book.

The kids aren't sick at the moment. Okay, spoke too soon. The eldest is home sick from throwing up last night. She said she feels better now but I still kicked her out of the family room, off the computer, and onto the couch. If she's sick, she needs to rest and sleep.

There are about fifty zillion things I should be doing but I find myself wanting to curl up on the couch with a good book too. Maybe next week, I'll get a break.

Oh, one other thing, GeekDad related. I wrote a post called "Should DC Comics Be Killing off Kids?" in relation to the awful Cry for Justice miniseries. I got linked and discussed over at one of the comicbookresources columns. I initially shrugged the link off because I'm over at CBR all the time--I thought the link was in the forums. Not so. It was in a column. That was pretty cool and I'm glad that my words were repeated--I doubt they'll make a difference to DC but it's nice to have a platform nonetheless.

And I got the check for my Chicken Soup essay.  That was awesome.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Have a shamrock shake in my honor!
