Had a pretty good night at work last night, helped by the fact that we only worked 7 hours instead of the usual 8, because the clocks went ahead. Yay. And it was also pretty quiet by our usual standard - not as many bells going off. Always a plus. We're under yet another Winter Storm Watch. Fortunately/unfortunately we're supposed to be getting more rain (and here's where the unfortunate part comes - freezing rain) than snow (like the northern parts of the province).

Well, I've been sitting here contemplating whether or not I've got the energy to go over to the gym to work out for a bit. It's not supposed to be 29C (84F) at 1am. Arrrgh. I slept on the floor of my office (with pillow and a blanket under me) for the last 3 hrs just because my bedroom upstairs is too frelling warm, and I was so bloody tired at that point I didn't give a damn where I slept. So, last night I went over to check on techservlib's cat and feed him around 9:40pm. I went to lie down with him and pet him. Next thing I know I'm waking up and it's 2:20am. So I say, ah bugger it - I'm not driving home now, wait til morning. So, it's Sunday morning, the clocks have gone ahead. Changed the clocks in the kitchen and my bedroom. Haven't hit the other ones yet. It's rather foggy this morning. + 4C (39.2F). Today, for sealily's birthday, she, techservlib and I went down to Isaac's Way restaurant for brunch, then we took a walk down by the river. Laptop Stuff: Got a call from ICS yesterday. Laptop does need a new hard drive and a cleaning. Both are covered under the extended warranty. Yippeee! Some folks say the extended warranties are nothing but a cash grab from the companies that try to sell them.
