Yesterday was a day off from work. I'd finished the last of six evening shifts on Thursday and so Friday was our usual clean-up day in the morning. In the afternoon I did a bit of shopping. So, as it's now an hour into the 29th July, it's my birthday. This evening my friends and I celebrated a little early (mine's the 29th and friend Colleen's is the 30th). We went to the Snooty Fox (a local English pub) for dinner. There were five of us. Happy Birthday, sealily!!!

Today, for sealily's birthday, she, techservlib and I went down to Isaac's Way restaurant for brunch, then we took a walk down by the river. It's really weird, being that it's the 17th of December and we have no snow and most of the grass is green. The temperature was around +5C (41F). Well, it was a pretty busy evening at work as we worked a bit short. But all the work got done at any rate.

Gave a ring to my cousin & her partner in the UK. Her partner's 40th birthday today, so gave them a call shortly before going to work.

Mum was showing me some pictures she'd taken of the cats. They were rather cute, as cats can be.
