The snow is really gettng to me.. I'm starting to feel like Jack Nicholson's character in The Shining. This is absolutly nuts. Today we got another few inches of fluff... it snowed all day. We decided to go to Rockport today to visit Rythter's grandfather at the nursing home. This afternoon we heard the train rumbling by, then the horn blew (which it's not supposed to) and shortly thereafter we heard sirens, so we all kind of assumed something bad had happened at the crossing. My neighbor had just gotten home with her kids, so we all walked down to see if anything was going on, but nothing was. More on De Twain. Again saw the gates malfunction again this morning. This time I actually counted it out. Train is at the station, gates go down for 30 seconds (slow count), gates go up for 6 seconds, gates go back down fro 10 seconds as train goes by.
