94 ish today. Gross. Well, it's been so nice for so long, I guess it has to end. The grass is crispy and brown in most places. The ground is powder dry (we did a dig today and yes, it's powder all the way down).  Need to water the trees again. What rain we get here and there isnt really enough. Just keeps the weeds happy.

Lately the sunsets have been just amazingly colorful. Brilliant reds and purples and oranges. Because it's been a dry spring and summer so far, I have to wonder if that has anything to do with the colors. I recall a year or so ago when there were huge fires in Canada that that was one of the reasons we were having really vibrant sunsets.

Well, after some prodding by dad, he finally sent me a FB message. He's doing good, made some friends. I have no idea how things are going really, if he's making to classes or not, showering or not, or if he'll do any laundry this weekend.
