3. Boss asked me to work at the filing wall today. Eight hours of standing later, and my feet and back are killing me.

I got a call from my staffing agency after work today, one of those usual "how are things going, how do you like it" sorts of calls, but they mentioned something -really- cool. They told me that the supervisors at my current job asked my temp agency to send them one more ( Read more... )

I feel like the past two weeks have kicked my ass. I've still been really fatigued lately, and I suspect that anemia is still hanging on by tooth and nail. Always tired, shortness of breath, etc. Even just sitting at my computer desk sometimes, I feel the need to take a huge, deep breath. Like I'm not getting enough air.

We're going to get blanketed in 6 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow overnight that' s going to make the Monday morning rush hour an absolute mess, so me and my mom are keeping a close eye on the weather to see whether or not it'll warrant a case of Ferris Bueller's Day Off for us tomorrow.

My staffing agency called last night to inform me that I've been officially laid off.  This time, I'm not sure who to blame... myself, or the economy. Or, maybe both.

To anyone wondering why I haven't been answering e-mails lately, I've been having some weird bug with Hotmail the past few days. I'd enter my username and password, then once I got into my inbox, I'd get a white page with all the icons and links shoved over to the far left side of the page, and any link I'd click would give me "503 gateway error" ( Read more... )
