Mondays suck by default, but today was an especially bad Monday.
1.) I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked last night because for some reason, my decongestant wasn't wearing off after its usual 12 hours. Normally this would be a nice surprise if it didn't have fucking pseudoephedrine HCI in it, which makes your heart race like crazy. It was so fucking hard to stay asleep BUT IT GAVE ME KICKASS DREAMS WHEN I -DID- SLEEP (only Oos knows this so far by the way, don't tell 'em Oos it's definitely NSFW XD)
2.) While sorting through the things on my desk I picked up my traffic ticket and LOL OOPS THE PAYMENT DATE IS TWO DAYS AWAY, and if you want to attend traffic school you have to pay five days before your due date or you risk an increase in fines or even a suspended license. Naturally I freaked the fuck out and called mom, and she asked my brother to call the circuit court while I was at work and see if he could work something out. They told him it is possible to negotiate an extension of the pay date, so after I paid the fee for the Driver Safety Program online I hit "contact us" on the circuit court website and basically explained what happened, that I have a high functioning form of autism/learning disability and I'm prone to memory problems/forgetfulness and that the delay in payment wasn't intentional at all, etc. It sucks because while I have a really good memory when it comes to things that happened a long time ago, my short term memory is AWFUL. Thus why I've locked my keys in my car more than six times in two years.
3.) At work today, an assload of files and work piled up over the weekend (600 files in queue, the most we've ever had EVER), and three people were absent; two home sick, one on vacation. That's three less data entry people out of only about... ten. We were absolutely overwhelmed with work. I have more than 150 files remaining to be done that are sitting on my desk over there right now.
4.) Also at work, I got another of those "lol here's another error you made on a file you shouldn't be making these anymore at this point" e-mails from my supervisor. I wasn't getting any of these in the past four or so months, this is a recent development. I've received two of these such e-mails in the past week. One on my fucking BIRTHDAY and another one today.
I need a margarita.
