All of our long term debt has been erased! Midwest Loan Services processed my cashier's check to close the loan yesterday. This erased all the information about the loan from their website, but my escrow balance should still be $960.53. Today I took a bus and MAX to the Tri-Met service center to get my "Honored Citizen" annual bus pass. I had to go there because they needed to take a photo. It was not well lit: they just shoot it through a digital camera through the glass with a lit background (the windows to a sunny day). Oh, well. So, yesterday the "opera" window on the driver's side of our rental car, a Nissan Versa, was broken some time between 7 and 8 p.m. while parked at the Black Bear Diner at 405 Hegenberger Road in Oakland California.
