All of our long term debt has been erased! Midwest Loan Services processed my cashier's check to close the loan yesterday. This erased all the information about the loan from their website, but my escrow balance should still be $960.53. Apparently they won't need to hang on to this for too long and can mail my check on Nov. 26, so it is likely we will have that as income by Dec. 6.
As a result, I will need to limit Marisa's allocation for the end of this month to $1357 instead of $1970: a reduction of $613. Once we get the escrow I can give her the $613 from that, leaving $347.53, rounded up to $350 to go into slush.
Meanwhile I have requested reimbursement for two medicare premia and should get that around Dec. 6 as well, directly deposited into the bank. Part of that will restore legal ($1000) but the rest, around $800, can go into slush.
Technically, it may not be until February to get Advantis out of House70. The county will take that long to process the paperwork to life the lien. That is no big issue for me, just as long as it is done before I feel the need to sell House70, which will be a while.
Today, after breakfast and I get dressed I have two tasks: pick up cat poo in the dining room and wash the dining room table...and leave at 10 a.m. to catch bus 44 to go to the University of Portland. This will get me to the Terrace and Bauccio Commons at UP so I can donate blood. I am hoping by that time my initial coffee at 6 a.m. will have worn off enough to not elevate my blood pressure. I won't have coffee with breakfast.
I will bring my camera to take photos of the campus.
For the afternoon I will take the bus back then have lunch with coffee, catch up with dishes, then work the back room.
