Friday my air conditioning was fixed, thank goodness. It just need a new cap and some freon, so it was easy and pretty cheap. The pill the doctor put me on is working really well. I've lost about 9 pounds in as many days. It's also giving me extra energy so I'm more productive, and it makes me thirsty so I'm constantly drinking water, which is good. I felt like shit yesterday and spent most of the day in bed. Like I said in my tweets, we did volunteer at the Orlando Repretory theater for a couple of hours, which was fine except that the show was sold out so we didn't get to see it. Give Kids The World - We did end up volunteering last night, but not in the parade. The rain continued all night and into today, so that just wasn't happening. Not much planned this weekend. Today some of us are leaving at 10:30 to go take down the decorations at Give Kids The World, and then we're going out to lunch somewhere. Despite returning to the torture of getting up at 6 AM every day (okay, usually 6:30 by the time I stop hitting snooze), I'm really glad to be getting back to life as normal.
